Network design, placement of access points, a separate guest network, security.
- 04Data destruction
Secure, irreversible erasure of data on retired drives, with a certificate of destruction.
- 05Equipment disposal
Collection and environmentally sound disposal of old machines, including the required paperwork.
- 06Backups
Backups set up so that they run on their own and can be restored when needed.
Deleting files does not make data on old hardware disappear
Deleted files or even a formatted drive are not the end — data can be recovered from them with readily available tools. For business hardware that means a risk of leaking contracts, invoices and customers’ personal data.
I perform irreversible erasure or physical destruction of the drive and issue a certificate. It comes in handy when you need to show how you handled the data.
