Complaints Policy
If something goes wrong after a repair or a purchase, get in touch. Here is how a claim works and what you are entitled to.
This is an English translation provided for convenience. The legally binding version is the Czech one (Reklamační řád); in case of any discrepancy, the Czech version prevails.
1. Who handles claims
Asiacon Productions, s.r.o., registered office at Třeboňská 591/5, Michle, 140 00 Praha 4, Czech Republic, Company ID (IČO) 05439108 (trade name HoroPC).

This policy follows on from the Terms and Conditions. It does not limit the rights you have under the law in any way.
2. Deadlines for claiming defects
- New goods (components, new computers, custom-built computers): 24 months from takeover.
- Used (refurbished) goods: as stated on the invoice, always at least 12 months from takeover. For most refurbished computers it is 24 months. If no period is stated on the invoice, 24 months apply.
- Repairs and other services: 24 months from takeover of the repaired device. This covers defects in the work performed and in parts I replaced during the repair. It does not cover other faults of the device unrelated to the repair.
If a defect in goods appears within one year of takeover, it is presumed that the item was already defective at takeover — unless the nature of the item or the defect rules this out.
Some components also come with the manufacturer’s own warranty, which may be longer. If you are interested, I will help you claim it.
3. What is not considered a defect
- wear caused by normal use, such as a gradual decline in battery capacity,
- for used goods, defects corresponding to the degree of previous use or wear the item had at takeover — I always describe its condition in advance,
- damage caused by a fall, liquid, unqualified intervention or use contrary to the instructions,
- problems caused by software installed on the device after handover, or by malicious software.
4. How to make a claim
- Call +420 732 210 218 or email info@horopc.cz and describe what is happening.
- We arrange the handover of the device. In Prague and the Prague-West district I collect it free of charge, or you can hand it over at the contact point in Horoměřice by prior arrangement. A claim can also be made in writing by letter to the registered office.
- When you make a claim, you receive a written confirmation (email is enough) with the date of the claim, a description of the defect and how you want the claim to be resolved.
5. Handling the claim
I resolve the claim, including remedying the defect, within 30 days at the latest from when it was made, unless we agree on a longer period. You receive a written confirmation of how it was resolved and, if I reject the claim, the reasons.
I reimburse costs reasonably incurred by you in connection with a justified claim.
6. What you are entitled to
For goods you can request removal of the defect by repair or replacement — at your choice, unless the chosen method is impossible or disproportionately expensive. If I do not remedy the defect in time, refuse to remedy it, or the defect recurs, you are entitled to a reasonable discount, and if the defect is material, you can withdraw from the contract.
For used goods you are entitled to a reasonable discount instead of a replacement.
For a repair I remedy defects in the work free of charge. If that is not possible, you are entitled to a reasonable discount, and if the defect is material, you can withdraw from the contract.
7. Claims by businesses
For companies and entrepreneurs this policy applies by analogy unless otherwise agreed in the contract. Deadlines and the procedure may be agreed differently for businesses.
8. Out-of-court dispute resolution
If we cannot resolve a dispute by agreement, as a consumer you may file a proposal for out-of-court dispute resolution with the Czech Trade Inspection Authority: Česká obchodní inspekce, Central Inspectorate — ADR Department, Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Praha 2, www.coi.gov.cz.
This Complaints Policy applies from 1 October 2026.
