What customers come to me with most often
- 01Computer won’t boot
A black screen, endless loading or a blue screen with an error.
In most cases the data is fine and the problem is only in the system.
- 02Computer is slow
The most common cause is an old mechanical hard drive and a cluttered system.
Replacing it with an SSD and cleaning up the system is usually cheaper than a new computer.
- 03Noisy and overheating
Clogged cooling makes the fans run flat out and shortens the life of components. A thorough clean and fresh thermal paste fix it.
- 04Computer won’t switch on
A faulty power supply, motherboard or a battery that no longer holds charge. I find out exactly what is wrong and tell you whether a repair is worth it.
- 05Physical damage
A cracked screen, liquid spilled on the keyboard, a broken charging port. With liquids, the sooner you bring the device in, the better.
- 06Error messages
Something keeps popping up, something won’t run. I find out what is causing it and tell you whether it is serious.
Cooling clean-up and refresh
Dust in the heatsink is the most common cause of overheating, noise and slowdowns under load. I take the computer apart, clean it with a workshop compressor, replace the thermal paste and check the fans. A compressor has enough pressure to really clear the heatsink — the cans of compressed air from a stationery shop are not enough. Don’t use a vacuum cleaner: static electricity can destroy a component that was working fine until then.
An upgrade instead of a new computer
An older computer is almost always worth upgrading rather than throwing away. We go through what you use it for and I pick the parts that make the biggest difference for the least money. I follow prices and know what is worth buying at any given moment. The most common job is replacing the hard drive with an SSD, including moving your data. On an older laptop this usually makes a bigger difference than people expect.

What people write most often is that I explained what had happened
This is the first PC service that I visited in Czech Republic and it has been so good. I upgraded my desktop PC from 13700 kf to 9800X3D due to the common known issues with Intel 13/14th gens and the guy is very helpful. He provided the best opinion with how I should upgrade my PC, and we chose the best components for the upgrades. The price is also very nice consider the amount of work, now I have my PC running games stable than ever with good tempreatures. I strongly recommend it!

Frequently asked questions
How long does a repair take?
Most repairs are done by the next day. If a part needs to be ordered, its delivery time is added — I tell you the date when we agree on the price.
What warranty do you give?
On my work and on the parts I supply. How long and how to make a claim is explained in the Complaints Policy.
Do I have to bring the computer somewhere?
No. I pick it up for free anywhere in Prague and Prague-West.
You can also drop by the contact point at B. Němcové 719, Horoměřice — but always by prior arrangement by phone or via the form.
What if I decide not to go ahead with the repair?
I find out what is wrong and tell you the price of the repair and whether I think it is worth it. If you decide not to go ahead, I charge CZK 490 for diagnostics. If we do the repair or upgrade, diagnostics are free.
Will I lose my data?
Not in a normal repair. If there is a risk that data could be lost, I warn you in advance and we agree on a backup. With damaged drives I cannot guarantee a backup, so it makes sense to back up regularly.
What if the repair isn’t worth it?
I tell you straight and advise you on what to do next — including whether it makes sense to buy a new computer, and which one.
Do you repair my brand?
I repair computers and laptops of all brands, regardless of manufacturer or operating system. Windows and Linux.
Can we communicate in English?
Yes. Calls, messages and invoices are all fine in English.
Tell me what’s wrong
Write a few lines about the problem or give me a call. I usually reply the same day and we agree on the next steps.
